FICH works in schools and remote communities with poor infrastructure like roads which limit access to most social services such as health care, and schools for children. KCDC matters because;

Access to computers and internet locally for the first time.
Space for leaders to meet to discuss and influence norms, policies, and practices.
More productive work environment for FICH staff.
Connecting beneficiaries locally and globally.
Access to books in both English and Lango.
Space for hosting FICH programs and programs of other NGOs
Training for youth in entrepreneurship, life skills, etc.
Encourage youth to cultivate innovation, growth, and personal development.
