our priorities
Are in education for children
affected by conflict and disadvantaged livelihoods with a strong focus on
entrepreneurship development, women empowerment and community development. We target the age group 6 to 35 years but
address concerns of children in the care of young mothers and child-headed
households. Activities within these target groups are carried out within school
and out-of-school settings and through groups and associations in the
communities. The solution is always built to help
learners in processing and acquiring core competencies of life skills such as
numeracy and literacy, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and self-awareness
among others using social emotional learning framework. The program is based on
a holistic development model that realizes the need to involve teachers and the
community in supporting children’s development. The education program rests on
the belief that through regular, positive interaction we can help children to
become leaders, be excellent students, gain access to knowledge and resources,
and discover more about themselves and the world.
