Parental Engagement & Empowerment

PE&E

Parents are the key stakeholders in the learning of children when they are engaged. Our interest is to connect learning at school and home/communities, strengthen communication between parents and schools, leverage community resources and amplify parents’ voice/community participation in influencing decision-making at school.

Parental Engagement & empowerment

Why Parental engagement & empowerment

Despite the acknowledged importance of parental empowerment and engagement in enhancing learning outcomes, a significant gap exists in effectively involving parents in their child’s education. Insufficient parental involvement results in missed opportunities to provide crucial support, reinforcement, and communication necessary for optimal academic growth and holistic development. This gap hinders the realization of the full potential of children, as their educational journey lacks the consistent guidance, motivation, and personalized attention required to thrive academically and emotionally. Addressing this issue is critical to ensure that children receive the necessary support and encouragement from empowered and engaged parents, ultimately leading to improved learning outcomes and overall success in their educational journey.
